Hill Country Lapidary is the web presence for my small lapidary workshop in the Texas Hill Country just outside of Austin. I received a Fine Arts Degree from the University of Texas in 1973 and have been working in various media since then. Lapidary and jewelry making were family hobbies and much of what I know I learned from my father who was a superb craftsman. I am still using many of the lapidary machines that he built in the 1950s.
