This jewelry bench was passed along from my father

My silver constructions happen here. This vintage bench is the same one that I learned on and that my father used. He made a lot of his own lapidary equipment and furniture. It is a very functional bench.

Usually the bench is more cluttered than this.

Stone cutting corner

Looks a little cluttered, but it works.

My torch is a vintage prest-0-lite acetylene

The Durston rolling mill is a very high-quality piece of equipment. It can be seen just over my right shoulder bolted to the counter top. Not quite as obvious is a 6-inch PEPE Tools guillotine bench shear. This bench shear saves a lot of time with some of my designs.

Slabbing stefoinite in my vintage 16 in slab saw

Much of my jewelry begins here or in a similar 10 inch slab saw. Both saws were built by my father in the early 1950s and still work very well today.
